How to use

  • The process is simple, you can slice the leave and scoop the gel out 
  • Massage the gel onto your scalp and leave it for an hour 
  • Aloe vera can be mixed with other herbs like amla and fenugreek while making a hair mask.

  • Make a powder of Brahmi and apply it to your scalp by mixing it with water or any other herb like methi or amla or shikakai and apply it to your hair 
  • Leave it for some time and rinse it off

  • Add bhringaraj powder to a carrier oil like coconut, amla, jojoba, and olive. Apply them to your hair 
  • Grind the bhringaraj leaves into a paste and apply the paste directly to your hair

  • The lavender essential oil can be mixed with other carrier oils and applied to your hair 



Flaxseeds are another miracle herb found to makes wonders to your hair. It is loaded with fatty acids and antioxidants that promote hair growth and nourishes your hair. It helps to get rid of the free radicals. Other benefits of flaxseeds are like it prevents hair loss and moisturises your hair to make it feel luscious.

How to use 

  • Boil the flaxseeds with water until it forms a gel consistency

  • Heat the oil with curry leaves in a saucepan 
  • Let the leaves sit in the pan until it turns brown

13.Basil leaves

  • Dry the basil leaves in the sun 
  • Mix the basil powder with preheated Olive oil 
  • Strain the oil with a Muslin cloth after it settles 
  • Use the oil to massage your scalp 
  • Rinse it off after sometimes


14.Reetha – Ayurvedic Herbs for Hair Growth

Reetha is also called soapnut which contains saponin. The agent helps to cleanse your hair scalp which helps to maintain the PH level of the scalp.

How to use 

  • Mix reetha and gooseberries in a bowl of water overnight 
  • Boil the water with reetha and gooseberries

  • Boil dry lemongrass with water 
  • Strain the water 
  • Wash and condition your hair and use the strained water as the last rinse
